Perform activities related to software development life cycle, which include gathering and understanding users’ requirements, analysis, design, functional specifications, technical specifications, documentation, programming, system integration and user acceptance testing.
Develop new and maintain existing software application systems. To deliver system enhancements on time and on budget while meeting business users’ requirements
Conduct or participate in feasibility studies based on user requirements and recommend solutions in consultation with the development team leader.
Prepare technical specifications, design and code application program and also conduct program unit testing, system integration testing and provide support to users in user acceptance testing.
Investigate and resolve all problems/issues in relation to IT systems promptly with minimum disruption to the business. After-hour support for production systems batch processing is required.

Experience
Along with a degree in IT, Computer Science, or other related fields, you have at least 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in Insurance/Finance Industry.
Preferably, you specialise in a core insurance systems) with the ability to move between business lines or work with different platforms and different languages
Strong analytical skills and able to diagnose problems effectively
Able to work in a team and as an independent worker, you are required to support integration and implementation of programme changes
Good interpersonal and communication skills, to work well with people at all levels
